ABOUT SVETLANA
Hi! I’m Svetlana.
I’m a sound therapist with over six years of professional experience working with Tibetan singing bowls.
My path to sound began more than ten years ago through my long-term practice and teaching of Kundalini Yoga. Sound, vibration and mantra have always been an important part of this path, gradually leading me to explore Tibetan singing bowls more deeply.
In 2020, I completed my first Sound Healing with Singing Bowls training with an Indian master carrying the wisdom of Bhutan and Nepal. Since then, I have continued to study with different teachers and traditions, including Vibroacoustic Massage at the Sounds of Tibet School in Russia and Singing Bowl Therapy at the Himalayan Academy of Sound Healing in India.
Originally from Russia, I have been living between India and Russia for the past six years. I’m deeply grateful for a way of life that allows me to learn, practice and share in both places, and to meet people from different backgrounds and cultures.
For more than three years, I have been teaching Sound Healing Therapy courses and workshops in India and Russia, as well as facilitating group sound baths and individual and couple vibroacoustic sessions.
My background is diverse. Alongside being a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, I have studied psychology and coaching and explored somatic and tantric practices. These different fields have shaped the way I work, allowing me to bring together sound, movement, breath and embodied awareness.
Before dedicating myself fully to this work, I spent 14 years as a corporate financial specialist. Living in the fast pace of corporate life gave me a firsthand understanding of how much pressure, mental activity and tension we can carry in the body — and how important it is to create moments to slow down, breathe and simply be.
This is why I feel so passionate about sharing singing bowls with more people. I believe sound can become a simple and powerful resource for everyday wellbeing — something we can return to whenever we need to restore balance, create space and come back to ourselves.
At the heart of my work is an invitation to listen more closely — to your body, your inner world and what is already within you.
